Hello,
due to an announced plan of Dataflow Gen1 retirement we need to be able to automatize Refresh operations of Dataflow Gen2. Currently, there is no Service Principal support for Refresh job.
POST https://api.fabric.microsoft.com/v1/workspaces/{workspaceId}/items/{itemId}/jobs/Refresh/instancesThis API request returns 202. However in the Job Detail information is message:
There was a problem refreshing the dataflow: "SPN based refresh is not allowed for the dataflow with id xxxxx.". Error code: SPNBasedRefreshNotAllowed. (Request ID: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000).
Support of Service Principal for this kind of API is crucial in deployment of Dataflow Gen2 into organisations.
