As a user actively transitioning to Microsoft Fabric and leveraging its enhanced capabilities for big data analytics, I strongly support enabling custom (non-dbo) schema support in Dataflow Gen2. This feature is essential for maintaining organized, scalable, and enterprise-grade data architectures—especially in environments where schema separation is critical for governance, performance, and collaboration across teams. Avoiding the need for staging in dbo not only reduces duplication but also aligns with best practices in data warehousing. Adding this capability will significantly improve adoption and usability of Fabric, reinforcing Microsoft’s strategy to empower data professionals with flexible, modern tools.
