- Gillian_McLeanNew MemberWe need to trigger a subscription after a successful data refresh. We trigger some SSRS subscriptions via a job after a successful data load. We can't do this with Power BI paginated reports, there is no API to call and trigger it. No 'After data refresh' option in the paginated frequency section. We would really like to migrate our SSRS reports to report builder but this is stopping us from moving forward.
- yi_zhangNew MemberThis is a must requirement for us in order to move from SSRS!
- pbiideas1New MemberWe will be NOT able to migrate to Paginated Reports without ability to trigger subscription when previous job event has completed. Will need API to trigger subscription.
- mike_lawellNew MemberI'm guessing you mean Data driven subscription of Paginated Reports in Power BI Service?
- pbiideas1New MemberThis would be really valuable to move this functionality off SSRS.
- Daniel_BaileyNew MemberThis would help a lot. I have a report that I mail out to many customers today in SSRS. I have a table that says this customer ties to this parameter and it just sends the report once a week to 30 some customers. Each customer shouldn't see the other customers info and it works just fine in SSRS. To do the similar in power BI I would need to make 30 dashboards... and just imagine if I have to make a change. We are migrating from SQL to Azure and using Power BI as our core reporting meaning we will lose SSRS someday and I have no solution for this.
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberYes. This would be a great feature.
- bishtpoonam1New MemberThis will be instrumental for us to move out of Sharpoint On Premise SSRS reports to Power BI Paginated reports.
- delucia_chrisNew MemberSame situation here, I’d really like to migrate all my company’s SSRS reports to Power BI Paginated reports but can’t until data driven subscriptions are available.
