Currently, the in-between date slicer in our reporting system does not automatically sync with the latest date. This manual adjustment required to slice the data to the latest date is causing issues with our report visuals and impacting the user experience. To address this problem, I propose implementing an automatic syncing feature for the in-between date slicer.
The automatic syncing feature would ensure that the in-between date slicer always defaults to the latest available date in the dataset. This way, users won't have to manually adjust the slicer every time new data is added, and the report visuals will accurately reflect the most up-to-date information.
Benefits:
- Improved User Experience: Users will no longer need to manually update the date slicer, saving time and effort. This will enhance the overall usability of our reporting system.
- Real-Time Data Representation: With the in-between date slicer automatically syncing to the latest date, our report visuals will accurately reflect the most current data available. This will provide users with real-time insights and enable them to make informed decisions.
- Reduced User Complaints: By addressing this issue, we can proactively eliminate the problem that users have been reporting, leading to fewer support requests and increased user satisfaction.
