Dashboard scroll bar size

The dashboard scroll bars are painfully skinny. Can this be fixed?

painfully skinny may be an understatement - almost invisible feels more accurate

Coupled with my colour blindness, the skinny scroll bars become almost impossible to see. Please fix the size of the scroll bars and the colour schemes.
