DB Connection Promotion Easier

We have database servers for each of our environments: Development, User Testing, Production and Disaster Recovery. It is a PAIN to change the data source right now. You need to borrow an idea from SSRS where the properties of the data source is kept in an object. This way, I can promote a workbook from development to user acceptance to production without touching the data source. Thank you.
