Currently, Power BI allows us to open multiple windows in DAX Query View and even rename them for clarity. However, there is no way to save these windows.
This creates a limitation:
Often, work in Query View is not finished in a single session.
Without the ability to save, progress is lost and must be manually reconstructed later.
Suggested Improvement Enable saving of DAX Query View windows (including names and content). This would:
Allow users to pause and resume work without losing progress.
Support iterative development workflows where queries evolve over time.
Improve deployment readiness by letting developers prepare and refine queries before publishing.
