We understand as stated in this Fabric community discussion, https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Fabric-platform/Power-BI-DAX-Expression-on-Microsoft-Purview/m-p/4407249#M12261, the reason why DAX forumlas are not available in Purview: "Micrososoft currently restricts access to DAX expressions in Purview due to sensitivity and security considerations."
This is a huge blocker for us and I think for a lot of other coleagues using Purview too; Business requires to have within the catalog all measure available, as they could see how they are being calculated and prevent measure with the same name to calculate things differently.
We also understand this is related to PII data being included in DAX formulas and showing up in the catalog, but this decision to let Purview scan DAX formulas should come from the users not from MS.
I'd be deeply thankful if you rollback to what you had, because I know this was available some time ago. Just add the option for the user to decide.
