DATES ON SCATTER PLOT X AXIS

The new Scatter Chart by Akvelon also doesn't allow dates on the x axis

Agreed - this should really be a key feature. We have to use Tableau as an alternative to show a scatter plot for sales. It would be good to have this in PowerBi so I don't have to use Tableau any more. The aim is if you have till sales for a year you can see a "dot" for every sale through the year. This allows you to see outliers and trends and gives a good understanding of sales trends for a large period of time. Currently we have to do a workaround where we convert the date into a value and then overlay it with another visual with the dates in them but it's not very professional when demonstrating how it's done to others.

This is really strange, because the data in our scatter plot is crucial for checking controls validity in Covid-19 PCR testing.

Agree, Its very common to plot data witg dates on x axis.
