Customizable highlighted points on a chart/graph when hovering or clicking on chart

When you plot a graph or chart (for example a line chart), you can currently hover over the plotted data entries on the graph and it will provide the values in a "highlighted" pop-up card. It would be great if you could customize this to provide a bar graph or chart where there are underlying fields or categories e.g. Where you may have total sales trending across the year each month in a line chart and in your data set/table it has field names for Month/date, Product and sales.

Underlying Data Table:

Jan | Apples | £100|

Jan |Bananas| £150|

Feb | Apples | £50|

Feb |Bananas| £100|

Where you have Total Sales int he Y axis, and Date in the X axis of the line chart.

When you hover or click on the data points on the line chart, it shows the total Sales value for that date. My suggestion is to allow for this graphic to be customizable where you have an option to include another chart breaking down the "Total Sales" value of that month, into the different products and the values in that month. Essentially having a Graph/Chart/Card as an extra visualization/drill down/summary within a Chart/Graph.
