Custom order for legend

I should be able to order the "legend" and the values for each legend category in a stacked bar chart. This is similar to "series order" feature in Excel

Seriously three years and still nothing for something so basic and so important.... I mean what's the point of a stack bar if it's not sorted by column ?

Its a simple request that would add just another layer of customization instead of having to do work arounds.
