Custom order for legend

I should be able to order the "legend" and the values for each legend category in a stacked bar chart. This is similar to "series order" feature in Excel

idealy the default sorting should be 1. Folder (alpha sorted) 2. Fields and calculated column (alpha sorted) 3. Measures (alpha sorted)

...so it's been over a year and MSFT still doesn't have a custom sort feature?

why isn't this a thing yet? incredibly frustrating to have to come up with work-arounds for something so basic!

Hi, I also agree that this future is needed. The legend on a particular visual of mine is displaying the days of the week and due to the legend automatically ordering alphabetically, the days of the week are in the wrong order!

My short example why "Custom Sort Lists" (like in Excel) is needed How to sort goods in stock by last sales periods by days: 361 > 181 - 360 91 - 180 61 - 90 31 - 60 1 - 30

I am doing a NPS report and will be good to do a leaderboard sort by NPS then RR.

Having a legend order matching the stacked bars value is a charting 101 issue. It has been Excel for decades. Please add this basic feature ASAP. Thanks...

Would be great, my example . . . . Either using the stacked column chart or clustered I would like to sort the following 1.) showing by months 2.) Total (sum) of categories, 8 different categories 3.) X-axis concatenate labels turn off Issue: As soon as I try sorting the Total( sum) category by (Asc) the x-axis concatenate turn off option breaks. In excel it works, I would like to see this working in power bi desktop/services Again, would be great.

Use multiple columns to enhance the functionality "sort by" of "slicers" in Power BI by adding the possibility to "sort by other non visible columns". E.g. Column "month": jan, feb, mar, ... (visible in the slicer) Column "month number": 1, 2, 3, ... (used to sort the visible fields in the slicer)
