Custom DNS Fabric Synapse

Custom DNS is possible for formerly SQL DW and not for Synapse workspace. It would be great to have it in Fabric DW as there is a lot of hustle to do it now.

Yes, this would be very good to have. It is going to be much easier to communicate this with our users and potentially make changes if we ever need to.

It is already challenging enough as it is managing a variety of data assets. The intent of Fabric seems to be to allow teams across analytics, data science, and data engineering to work together more seamlessly and allow us to focus on servicing my end user's needs. Seems awfully strange and contradictory to then force analysts, business users, and other teams to now have to memorize or maintain complex azure server IDs.. I hope this is resolved and addressed soon.

Having the ability to use a custom DNS in Fabric DW would greatly reduce the current complexities involved in managing data assets. It would also simplify communication among stakeholders. I hope this idea is considered and added soon.
