Ability to Cross-highlight data point on a scatter chart. For example, if I have a table containing rows of data that are plotted on a corresponding scatter plot, clicking on a row in that table would then highlight that data point on the scatter plot.

the fundamental point in a scatter plot is to compare a data point against other, it makes no sense that it filters the whole set rather than highlights the required data point, how is this still not implemented?- Would be amazing if we could get a cross-highlight option like on pie charts

Lordy, even the "enhanced scatter" visual doesn't allow for this. For high-cardinality dimensions, this makes the scatterplot pretty useless.
