Create different slicers

Allow slicers to be created as drop downs, calendars, on/off switches etc. Let slicers contain multiple fields. Also allow user to specify that slicer can only have one value selected and set a default

Agreed! also, Shift+Select should be supported for selecting ranges..I can't believe it's not!

Being able to have the checkboxes in the slicer horizontal rather than vertical would be neat.

I agree, some kind of formatting options here would be great

Choosing the font (mainly the size of it) would be a simple and huge improvement when optimizing use of screen real state.

Also can we slice numeric values based on a range, such as annual sales > £1,000,000. Ideally what I would like to see is something like the answer to a Q&A query filtering the data in a page.

Slicers are a handy way for users to interact with the data, but they don't add much insight once used. It would be handy if the slicers would "disappear" when not being activated so more screen real estate could be devoted to visualizations and insights.

We really need the ability to prevent multiple selections in a slicer. Radio buttons or a single select dropdown instead of checkboxes.
