Create different slicers

Allow slicers to be created as drop downs, calendars, on/off switches etc. Let slicers contain multiple fields. Also allow user to specify that slicer can only have one value selected and set a default

Slicers currently have no formatting options. It would be great if they could behave more like the Excel Slicers, or even better, include features like search for when the number of members is large

Yes.. slicer as a dropdown (with ability to allow single or multi select) at a minimum would be really helpful. A lot of time I have to ditch slicers because they take up too much space.

I so need this! They need to snap together easier too. Sorting slicers would be great for date ranges especially.

It would also be nice to be able to share across report pages. I am setting up the same slicers on every page! Also need radio button instead of checkbox. I don't like the way the filters overlap in reading view.

Also ability to connect Individual Slicers to individual visualizations within the report - so on one page you can have 2 visualizations - each with its own slicer which will not affect the other one! In Excel you can control this under Slicer Tools => Options => Report Connections => where you can assign each Slicer to a specific pivot table or chart only.

The slicer in power BI needs structural as well as functional changes, it should also contain dropdown and allow us to change the shape and colour for better visualizations as in other tools. Also slicer should be given with the option as radio button or checkbox as right now this tool supports only checkbox option
