Create different slicers

Allow slicers to be created as drop downs, calendars, on/off switches etc. Let slicers contain multiple fields. Also allow user to specify that slicer can only have one value selected and set a default

Sorting by another value in a slicer (like release date for a product list) is also needed.

Has any improvement been released? I do not see any in September release! This is a must for some serious dashboard making.

No further feedback since May? could you please provide more updates on this topics and the others. It's quite frustrating to see that such useful (and obvious!) features are missing and that no feedback is provided. We are reaching a point in which there are really good back end functionalities but very poor front end ones...in the end this product has to work both ends.

One of our intended uses for Power BI is a selector to choose one of more than 400 ratios. We are currently vetting visualization products for a long-term initiative for our clients, and I'm surprised this basic functionality is missing in Power BI, because the rest of the product is fantastic.

Please, the Search box on a slicer should honor the Select All control when it is enabled. In other words, when the Select All control is enabled, the "Select All" checkbox should NEVER be hidden! When search criteria is entered, "Select All" should select all items that match the current search criteria.

The new Date Slicer options only appears when the Header is on which then shows the field name in it's ugly form. A bit pointless when having a Title for the control as well. Can the choice of showing the field name in the Header be optional? Thanks for another great update

I love Power BI, but COMPLETELY baffled that a drop-down selector / slicer doesn't exist.
