Copying cells between notebooks

Right now, I can, cut, copy and paste cells inside a single notebook. It would be great if I could do it in between notebooks. Currently I have to copy-paste cell text into an existing cell in a different notebook. I have to do it one by one and it can be arduous. Thanks in advance for help.
