Copy/Paste from Power BI Desktop

Please allow Copy/Paste functionality from Power BI Desktop. We often need to recreate PBI reports in Excel just so we can Copy tables or charts and paste into PowerPoint or simply email it. Need stronger integration with other Office products. Copy/paste seems so basic. Note: Our company uses PBI Desktop and PBI Report Server (on SQL server) - cloud services are not an option because of Protected Health Information.

Holy Moly YES YES YES!!!! Why is copy paste something that we even have to ask for?!?! Should someone really have to export an entire table when all they want is to copy a quote from one line??? This is a truly stupendous FAIL that it was not available from day 0.

Everytime I have to export data just to copy a few cells, a virtual tree is chopped down XD Please, Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V

No idea why we have to ask for simple feature like this. If PowerBi is intended for sharing reports around office, top level users will want to copy data. No one wasn't to click export to csv everytime they want to copy few rows of data. Thanks

Why don't you take a screenshot? Or are you saying the pasted visual needs to be still functioning?

It is embarrassing. Copy/Paste is around since 70's. Get your act together.

Users who are consuming the content of the dashboards and reports often discover stories that they want to share with colleagues. Whilst taking a screenshot and cropping it is a simple work-around, it would be very useful to be able to select a visual, hit a copy button and paste it into a report, email etc.

This should be a feature! Annoying that users have to export to .csv to simply copy one or two fields.
