Copy/Paste from Power BI Desktop

Please allow Copy/Paste functionality from Power BI Desktop. We often need to recreate PBI reports in Excel just so we can Copy tables or charts and paste into PowerPoint or simply email it. Need stronger integration with other Office products. Copy/paste seems so basic. Note: Our company uses PBI Desktop and PBI Report Server (on SQL server) - cloud services are not an option because of Protected Health Information.

I'm truly embarrassed when clients ask me how can it be that POWER BI has so many great feature but this is not supported. Pls. add it !

This would help us better connect back to our EMR and CRM systems to correct data issues that are discovered through power bi!

This is nothing new. My question is when will someone from the Power BI team post a reply to state their position on this feature. There is obviously some reason why it hasn't been included in updates and the community would like to understand why.

Great idea! I was thinking about it, the possibility to link a PowerBI tables or charts into a PowerPoint Slide like we do with Excel would be awesome too.
