I second this request, especially the usage of geographical visualizations I like the support of Geographical data types of the Reporting Services as well as the support of ESRI shape files, the easy integration of bitmaps as a geographical layer iin Power Map as well as the 3d visualization and of course the support of BIng maps, but I always have to consider what kind of tool I will be able to use due to different customer situations and sometimes there is just no internet connection and neverthelessI want to stare a map

Reorganize MS BI products to one "vision" : 1) ETL with SSIS or PowerQuery from Data Tools and Excel (interchangeable, import/export). With a repository for share it (SSISDB catalog for example). So one process and load of data in a sql table or shared Excel "table". 2) BI Model: Tabular or PowerPivot (interchangeable,import/export). Ability to shared it with other people (es. SSAS "catalog" ), use from Excel select tabular cube and can modify the model for all the company users. Add missing features to Tabular, present in Multidimensional: M2M, folder on Excel, etc. 3) BI presentations: improve SSRS with style "Power View" to support modern browser/technology (ex.: html5, parameters customization, programmability/xml report source). 4) New devel: for PowerBI merge it with SharePoint 2016 to have it on premises and merge Excel services with Excel web app to one vision. tips for Microsoft BI team: increase feedback and add more support for MS BI Gold Partner in order to realize best BI products on the market.

I feel that an on premise solution is still by far the best. Most companies cannot store data in the cloud. RS maybe the best place to make the investment.
