Connectivity to Google sheets

Connecting to Excel workbooks in OneDrive is a great first step, but connectivity to Google Sheets should be there too.

Yes this would really be helpful for marketing analytics and reporting. For some this would be crucial to chose a BI tool like this. Adding Bing Ads API as well would be great too: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/14666316-integration-with-adwords-and-bing-ads

Using bing for mapping is awful. It plots the Middle East somewhere in North America. Even changing data category doesn't help. Similar thing happens when i want to plot something in Malta. It plots in North America again because it turns out that Malta is a town in Saratoga County, New York, United States. Google is just smarter.

Come on MS, AdWords is too important not to have it as a source!

If you got to bing or google, mostly bing because it has a really nice layout, and type MSFT Stock. It shows a great visual. Has built in trends, statistics, time slice, would be great to create a dashboard with a few of these!

I believe that the standard GA to PBI connector will only pull aggregates and will also be exposed to sampling. May I suggest using https://scitylana.com instead? Scitylana will pull all raw data, user by user, click by click unsampled from GA (free edition) into Power BI (and others). This expands the possibilities of web analytics dramatically and enables integration with your own backend data.

We'd really appreciate being able to use string filters other than just "exact match" in GA queries. At the moment, selecting another type such as "starts with" breaks the 'Cube', forcing Power BI to request far more data than necessary. Even though the Core Reporting API supports such filters.

Hello Paco, Do you think it would be worth showing how to connect to different source through the current extension points i.e. REST, ODATA?
