Connecting folder with on premise data gateway

Hi! I have installed On premise Data Gateway on my computer system. When I log in to Power BI service, it show "Online" . Now I want to connect to a folder on my system and want to make data refresh on BI service one I make any changes to my data. But I don't know how to connect a Folder or File on my system. Can anyone please help me understand this and connect to my file saved on my computer. Thank You
