Connect to password protected excel workbook

It would be great if we can connect or open the password protected excel workbook inside Power BI Desktop. Of course we should know & provide the password first.

I totally support this idea. If we have the password then we should be able to access the file. This is becoming highly important now given the fact that all the organizations are focusing on data security.

How has this honestly not been addressed yet? Companies need the ability to use their data and secure their data with passwords at the same time. This should have been a release function. Laziness that it hasn't been addressed.

It is really a crucial need, and if it was applied on all types of protected file types that would be a very important addition to the Power BI desktop, and of course at first the password should be available to be provided.
