Connect to multiple sources while connected to an SQL Server Database via DirectQuery

This is a MAJOR shortcoming of PowerBI. It can't be that hard to implement.

I also find myself needing to be able to connect to multiple data warehouses. PowerBI would eliminate a significant amount of work around having to gather this data into a single warehouse if multiple sources were possible.

Same requirement for SAP BW DirectQuery. It is a surprise that this requirement is still open. Composite models are not supported for databases like SAP BW, HANA etc

This has been open since 2017 ... don't know why Power BI Report Server does not get as much attention (unlike competitors on-premise solution)
