Connect automatically Power BI to Revit from AutoDesk to create an AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) project dashboard.

At the moment, we could use Dynamo BIM to push data to Excel and link Excel to Power BI. Ideally, we could connect Power BI directly to Revit via API and create live dashboard. Is there any plan to use Power BI for Autodesk products?

This is a great wish/idea that many Revit users will like. Maybe Microsoft and Autodesk can work together to manage data?

There is one more solution that you can use to export Revit data to Excel file. It is free plugin for Revit called SheetLink from DiRoots. You can find it on following link: https://diroots.com/plugins/sheetlink-revit-to-excel/ All parameters and values can be exported in Excel file in organized manner. Hope this helps. 😉
