The conditional formatting is a great edition, however it only works with summarized values which is a shame. It would be fantastic if conditional formatting can be applied to calculated columns, which in my opinion is more logical. For example when converting values into percentages.

- mikejarodNew MemberIn my opinion this is related to https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/15310341-conditional-formatting-in-matrix . I'm guessing that there are more conditional format related ideas in the 227 pages of ideas. This way of registering ideas is not efficient and does not benefit the speed of development and quality of the product.
- jon_toothillNew MemberAgree this voting approach can be too spread out but its what we have. Conditional formatting on calculated columns is a needed extension for when summarising data to a RAG status - unless one can colour the table cells it makes for a lame visual
- scott_allisonNew MemberThis is a BASIC feature that should have been implemented a long time ago.

- willem_de_jongeNew MemberThis would be highly appreciated and very helpfull color scaling percent of row or column totals highlighting the range.
- mdebekkeAdvocate II'm also missing this option as this was a standard option in excel to be able to set conditional formating over percentages which where set over numbers in a pivot, for a Matrix I expect this also to be possible?

Yes, it seems completely logical improvement to make.
N.b. I notice that Conditional formatting already works for the other conditional formats: Background Colour, Text colour, Icons, so why not Data bars?
