we need to have the conditional formatting for Clustered bar chart to show positive values as green and negative values as red

Why are some charts allowed to change the color property using a function and other not?

This is pretty annoying. This request has been posted MANY times across different ideas. If you go to https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/search-ideas/?q=conditional%20formatting%20custered%20column%20chart&%3Bforum=%20"%3BPower%20BI%20Ideas"%3B you will see they are basically all the same but the votes have been split across all of the requests. And the status of this issues is "needs votes".
MS, is anyone triaging this forum?

Conditional formatting in clustered column charts is available in some other BI tools, but why is this feature still not available in Power BI? Unfortunately, there is no way to compare the values of the results we have achieved to gain clear business insights.

On a single column chart conditional color setting are possible but not a multiple and stacked chart. For 4.0 manufacturing visuals this would be a great feature. I can say for my business it would be added value. Please implement this feature.

This is basically functionality in Excel - format data series. Why MS have not made this available in Power BI I do not know.

When there are multiple measures on the X-axis, conditional formatting is not possible, but should be.

Honestly we are in 2025, we have AIs that are solving PhD papers. How is it that we aren't able to resolve this?
