Conditional Formatting based on a different measure

I would like to be able to format a column in a table or matrix based on values of a different measure, or based on values of the same measure in a different row of the table. Examples : 1. Conditional formatting of sales amount based on the value of sales amount last month(green if higher, red if lower etc.). 2. Conditional formatting of sales amount based on sales goal(higher/lower than goal, and how far from target)

Glad to report that we've now shipped this feature as part of our May update! https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-may-2018-feature-summary/#conditionalFormatting

Here is how to do it with static values. would be great if conditional formatting could be set based on thresholds pulled programmatically by either the data model or end-user entry... https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-conditional-table-formatting/

Conditional Formatting with if/then statements would be great! We would need at least 3-5 options on there. We too use sales numbers, growth percentages, and sales values to see where our locations are on track, falling behind, and exceeding corporate goals. We would love to see something like an if/then statement on the formatting. If team X is below goal then color font (pick color), if meeting goal then color font (pick color), if above goal then color font (pick color).

Looks like color scale for table/matrix has been added in today's release. while it works for measures/numbers, would be good to accept date as well. A scenario is format if the date in table/matrix is past date or beyond a configurable date

We need dynamic charts titles, and conditional background colors of cells/tables/matrix, cells text coloring, text formatting based on different measures like Tableau and Qlik

Please revisit - very frequent scenario - highlight value based on the flag - the value might not be dependent on the value (such as overtime threashhold for different employee categories). Thank you!
