Column Options

I do almost all my work analyzing AAD and AD DS user information such as email suffixes etc. It would be a real time saver if I had the option to when I duplicate a column have the column appear next to the source column rather than right at the end of the all the columns which means that I need to scroll all the way over and fetching it so I can drag it back next to column it's a copy of. The same is true when I extract text after a delimiter. It would be useful to have the ability to tell it to display the extracted column next to the source column.

The other feature is to be able to automatically sort columns alphabetically.

And then a question. How do I create a card that is blank until I select things in a slicer
