Collapse App Navigation Pane

The new app navigation experience is great but can take up a good chunk of screen retail space. The option to collapse/uncollapse the navigation pane would be a great feature for users, allowing them to focus entirely on the report/dashboard

We've released an update to the app navigation experiences that includes the ability to collapse the left navigation. Read all about it in our blog: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-designing-custom-navigation-for-power-bi-apps-is-now-generally-available-ga/

Either the option to collapse the navigation page OR full screen mode hides the Navigation Pane would be great

This is a must. People are moving to Tableau because Power BI no longer offers full screen capability.

Rather than static size, user should be able to increase/decrease the width of the pane basis need.

I can't believe I am having to comment on this. We really need to be able to collapse/uncollapse, defaule to closed, resize, shrink padding etc. I figured MS wold have heard that enough to implement.

you can shut off the Navigation builder and switch reports from the upper right hamburger icon while in the app (view content list). I like the Navigation builder, but yes it needs a hide feature.

The left navigation bard just takes up to much space in general.

Absolute necessity, executives are complaining about limited visualization space and difficulty in reading previously legible visuals. Adoption from our end users is suffering.

I agree with this 100%! I love the navigation, but all other Microsoft tools I use for Front-end data consumption allow panes or ribbons to collapse.

At our company, inability to expand/collapse the navigation bar is one of the top arguments against Power BI in favor of the incumbent Tableau. For an additional option how about "Synch with Bookmark Bar/Favorites" and navigate from there if preferred ... just an idea. Power BI is an amazing product but this feature is critical. Thanks!
