i am using also using and would like to connect to Cognos and SAP Business Objects WebIntelligence, but I think I should connect directly to the sources that Webi and Cognos pull from, rather than indirectly through Cognos and Webi. Just don't know how to get data from SAP Hana/Hadoop yet

Can Power BI pull content from Cognos IBM. Would be nice and powerful.

I'm working at the customer side of this and we're looking for a possibility to view data with Power BI where data is stored in SQL Server and modeled with Cognos data modeling tools.

Direct access to Cognos tables would allow users quick access to powerbi. This would help Powerbi significantly get into small-mid companies.
