Clear search bar text when clear the selection of a slicer

Hi, When we clear the selection of a slicer, search text in the search should also be cleared. It is not happening now. Thanks

This would be great simple fix. It's frustrating to clear text manually.

This is highly needed!! Bookmarks do not work and there is no workaround for this. Needs to be solved ASAP

Whenever I'm demoing a new BI report that includes Slicer search I have to talk about this issue. Really would be nice it eraser would also reset search box AND status of cleared search box was supported as bookmark my screen reset button would also reset slicer search box text.

It's hard to believe this continues to be unresolved after being identified as an issue nearly 3 and a 1/2 years ago. I'm not really sure how this has not garnered more votes or would even need votes to be fixed as this would actually be beneficial to the end-user.

When you have a slicer which is a Drop Down & the Search window turned the Eraser to remove the filter will remove the filters applied via check boxes, however, The Search window is not cleared. Thus, if you had text in the search window it remains even after the filter has been "erased." This creates confusion with users, because sometimes it is not obvious that the Search Window still has text, which is filtering down the selection of items. Thus, sometimes users think something is wrong because there are items missing even though they have pressed the eraser to remove all filters from the slicer.

Please help to find the issue for clearing searched text in slicer using bookmarks. It is very confusing to the users and it is big issue.
