Change label of Total row in Table or Matrix

On the bottom of a table or matrix, the Total row is labeled as "Total". I need to be able to change that text to something else. For example, if the table rows are labeled as "Americas" and "International", I want the total row to be labeled as "Global".

Makes sense.

It should also be possible to change labels of subtotals as well. Both totals' and subtotals' labels should be editable. Very important for building financial reports. This is too basic a feature not to be included in power BI.

Not exactly what we needed. When you have a Header with multiple instances in the same level, we need to change each total individually. For example, we have Income and Expense. I need the total to say "Income Total" and the Expense to say "Expense Total". I do not need to change it at the global header level (where it would have to be "Income/Expense Total") but at the individual header level. In other words, I need to be able to change each subtotal record to say something unique for what it is totaling.

I just downloaded and tested the June 2019 version with my accounting report, it seems the subtotals label apply to all the subtotals as well as the grand total. It would be more useful if we can have different label for the grand total and if we could apply some conditional formula to apply different subtotal labels depending on the data we are grouping on in the matrix.

We need to be able to change the label of the Total on Waterfall charts too.
