I get this error when I try to schedule refresh a dashboard with Smartsheet data: "The given data source kind is not supported. Data source kind: Smartsheet." How is it that it's not supported but then in this article it appears it is: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/visualize-your-smartsheet-data-in-power-bi/

Charles, here's a response I got from Microsoft support so I think this ticket is prematurely closed. Hi Adam, I received word back from the PG. It seems, at this time the gateways do not support the cloud SaaS connectors therefore giving you an error stating that the source kind is not supported. An ETA for a fix rollout is not yet listed but I can see that this is a known issue that they are working to resolve now. I encourage you to monitor the support page because when a fix is being rolled out it will be listed on the Power BI support site. I’m sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause and thank you for contacting Microsoft Pro Support Adam. - akruzel

Charles, I don't just have a single Smartsheet connection that I'm trying to refresh. I use it in a relationship with other queries that are pulling SQL Server data. - chass

Hello Adam, I just tested this and my refresh is working for Smartsheets. Can you also test a simple Smartsheet datasource? Thanks - chass

This should be working and even documented here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-content-pack-smartsheet/ As it is written for Microsoft by Smartsheet please contact them at: https://www.smartsheet.com/support Thank you! Chuck - flexfleetFrequent VisitorI connect to SmartSheets on many dashboards and they are currently auto refreshing. However I have a new SS dashboard I just rolled out that is throwing this exact error. My other SS dashboards are refreshing but not my new one. I'm wondering if the problem is an error that is throwing in the dataset that isn't reporting as an error in the desktop client but is on the web side. I'm trying to figure this one out right now....
