Cannot launch Power BI Desktop

hi, I have been using Power BI over several months and recently upgraded the version. Now Power BI does not launch, it hangs on the start up panel "Initializing model...". I checked the event log and an error is logged "Event ID 25 from source MSOLAP$AnalysisServicesWorkspace882451754 cannot be found.". Also indicates the following in Event Data: "The following information was included with the event: msmdsrvi.rll 1053 " I have re-installed a number of times, restarted the PC and nothing seems to help. Simply can't use Power BI Desktop anymore. Can anyone help?? Thanks Stephen

Found Workaround: Have a comparable Problem on my notebook and just yesterday found the reason. PBI Desktop freezed during the launch process after choosing the pbix-File and always had to be killed. Certainly i can still reproduce it. I found my second Screen with different resolution as the reason. My Workaround currently is: Disconnect then second screen and PBI Desktop is working normally.

Is there any solution yet? I have already deleted Power Bi from my desktop and tried to install old and the new version and it still doesnt launch. I don't even get an error number, it closes after "Initializing model".

Any update? How long do we have to run the 32-bit version until this is addressed?
