hi, i've a similar problem since the previous update (june update if im not wrong). i get the "initializing model..." as well, and the power BI icon appears momentarily in the task bar before disappearing without any error message. it doesnt show up on the task manager as well. even after the recent august update, the same problem still persists. on windows 10 64bit if that helps.
