Cannot filter dimension on Matrix column

Since April 2016 update (was not there in March), I'm having a problem with some dimensions in the Matrix visual when used as columns. I'm using SSAS MD as a source by the way. If I put my dimension as a column in a Matrix visual, I cannot filter the elements shown. It is not applied. It is applied though if I put the dimension as rows.
