Cannot export data from chart within PBI desktop since update to July version

Since the July update , cannot export data to excel from PBI desktop. The app flags an error, and have sent frown. On closing the error dialog, the app displays "working on it" until the app is stopped from task manager. Tested same export on another PC with still the June version and it works fine !! Please advise if it is a bug that is known / resolution underway and timing. Should we roll back to the June version ?

Hi Pat, I'm getting the same error, under the same circumstances. The export function works if the same report is accessed via Office 365 Power BI, however this is a bit of a workaround compared to business as usual.

Hi Pat, I uninstalled the desktop app and installed the June Update which appears to have restored export functionality, unfortunately reports just can't wait until it's fixed! Regards IV

Hello, I just downloaded the latest July update: Version: 2.37.4464.602 64-bit (July 2016) and i can export data from both the bar and column charts.
