Calculated column or measure wizard for rigging expenses as positive on Profit and Loss

Although there are work arounds: a calculated column/measure wizard to allow expenses to be positive in line and subtotal when displayed (as in a Profit and Loss statement) and still calculate as negative against the Grand Total would greatly increase usability for us financial report creators! ie: some kind of "assign values in a column X in regards to labels in column Y as negative in grand total calculation."
