Bug with dropdown slicer and groups

I often create groups and use that field to populate dropdown slicers, rather than the source field values.

Recently I've noticed that if you have a slicer using grouped values which is synced over multiple pages, when you select a value in the slicer on page X and move to page Y, the slicer on pag eY shows "All" rather than the selected value.  If you navigate back to page X, that will also show "All".

This means that users think that all values are being displayed rather than the filtered values.
