Be able to direct users to a specific dashboard with a URL

while you can share your dashboard with a set of users, we would like to be able to send a URL link to users (maybe in email or documentation) and when clicked on the URL, have the user directed to a specific dashboard (not just the users first dashboard).

I really need this feature in order to share my contest tracker dashboards with Yammer community. (When we're in public preview of course). 🙂

I am assuming it also means Dynamic links as this will be a killer feature with ability to navigate using Dynamic links from a Dashboard to a Detailed Report which could be SSAS or any custom reports.

This is very much needed. Today when I am sharing the dashboard it goes with some different account name to the individuals and could easily land in their clutter or junk box then if I want to send mass email to the team it goes like this - "Hey folks, this is a cool dashboard that we have created for our customers and by the way for the link search for another email with xyz subject line". Doesnt help :(.

Well, the ask was to be able to share to the users who don't have access so that they don't have to search for the invitation email.

The current implementation uses dynamic links that look to have unique identifiers in them. When a content pack is republished or the dashboard is edited it now has a new unique identifier and therefore a new URL which breaks all the links.

This looks like it works, but as another comment mentioned these URLs change when a content pack is updated. I need a way to insure the link I send to a user will always open my dashboard, even if I update my content pack. Please reopen this idea and help us by supporting a predictable link to a dashboard that can be published or sent to a user and won’t change.
