When multiple users collaborate on the same report in Power BI Service, there is currently a limitation in how updates are reflected across sessions. For example, if three people are working on the same report and one person makes changes and saves the file, those updates are not immediately visible to the other collaborators. Instead, the others continue to see the previous version of the report until they manually refresh both the report and the associated semantic model.
To improve the collaborative experience, would it be possible to introduce a feature that automatically synchronizes the latest changes for all users? This enhancement would ensure that everyone viewing the report always sees the most up-to-date version without having to perform manual refresh actions. Such functionality would streamline teamwork, reduce confusion, and eliminate the risk of working with outdated data during collaborative sessions.
