Simple option so Content Packs can automatically update. I change dashboards all the time and then going into all the content packs just to hit update seems ridiculous.

When the content pack is updated, enable users to keep any personalized items they've created as long as the update didn't "break" the personalized item. For example, if I add one new measure to a dataset and don't make any other changes, I don't want the users of it to have to re-build their personalized items just to get it.- AnonymousNot applicable'+1 on Laurens comment! As an Admin I want to update the "template" content packs that people have as a baseline to consume + allow users to create additional personalized pages in reports that came from the content pack. When I update the content pack, I don't want people to lose their personalized visuals only to get my latest updates.
