Add an apply button for the DAX input field in Power BI Desktop, so that you can work in a DAX script and click outside the field or go to another view to check how the relationships was e.g., without actually applying the changes to the data model. When working on larger tables, sometimes you end up waiting for the data model to apply the "changes" that you know will fail anyway because you are not really finished with the script, and that can be very annoying. Maybe it would also make sense to add a way to see if there are un-applied changes to a table in the table-pane, by displaying those tables in cursive or add an asterix or something.
