Hi, I ran into an odd behavior of Power BI Desktop. When either referencing or appending a query AND changing the Data Type of any column, the data was not correct anymore. Even more strange is that when pressing the refresh button, the data changes (from incorrect to incorrect)! When I removed the "Changed Type" commands from the query, the data refreshed correctly again. I have tested the without any relationship of tables etc so I am pretty sure of my findings. I would prefer to send you the PBIX-file because it explains the issue. Thanks. Henri

- igorventura7New MemberI am having the same issue. I have one query to a SQL Database and 2 queries to excel Files. I append this 3 queries with the same structure and apply some "Change Type" functions to some columns of the excel queries. The data from append query changes every time i click the refresh button. The differences are minimal, but after some tests i identify that some data disappear or duplicate instead. When i use only one source for the same data, all values are correct. Only the append query give different results for every refresh. Note: The data sources had no data changes between this refreshes. Sorry for any typing error
- firapbiNew MemberThanks Igor for bringing up your issue, I hope the Power BI team will realize this is a major thing and take it up soon to be corrected. I have tried to recreate the issue on other people's computers as well, building the PBIX file from scratch in order to remove any factors relating to my hardware environment etc. The issue appears also on those other people's computers. So this is not an issue relating to a mistake committed by the user, but something in the Power BI Desktop software. Henri
