AppCrash Before the app even opens

I have installed the latest build of PowerBI Desktop on two systems this morning and it will not open on either of them. the OS is Windows 10 build 1607 on one and Windows 10 build 14955 on the other. The initializing splash screen appeared then the app crashed and closed. Have also seen the app crash when trying to sign in.
