Allows Slicers to apply to all Pages of a Report

As has been partly implemented with Filters, it would be very useful to have slicers that could apply to all pages of a report. This would allow users to interact more easily.

Please provide dates, 'planning' is all well and good, dates for release are more useful. Without these features PowerBi is still a good summary tool, not a real BI solution. The idea is already 2 years old...

Is it possible to get an estimate on when this may be available? We are in a situation where we really need to move away from our current SSRS solution - but we can not do this until global slicers are in place. Not having any idea when this will be available is a problem for us, so any rough estimate would be much appreciated.

Oh PLEASE! I'd like to have all my slicers on one report page and then the data on another. At the moment, 50% of every report tab is taken up with the same slicers and users have to remember to re-slice every time.

This is really needed, really basic and it has been the highest voted idea for a real long time now. I do not understand why you prioritize anything else until this is solved. In september update was the drill through to another report feature. This could have been a very cool feature - if we could have passed the date which is set on a slicer along. The date filter is set on a slicer. Now when slicers can not apply to all pages of a report - this cool new feature is useless in most real scenarios. So looking forward to octobers update 🙂

This would be fantastic to have. It would make navigating multi paged reports and dashboards so much easier.

I hope this is coming soon. It would be much, MUCH easier to make a step-by-step, guided and interactive report with this feature.

The drillthrough is great but my users have to select the date range they need on each page. Having a global date slicer will make this drillthrough much more seamless.
