Allow users to share personalized report views and filters with others

In Power BI users today can create personal bookmarks or personalize the view of a report, but these changes are limited to their account.

How great would it be if users could share their personalized view of a report, with filters, slicers, and visual changes, in context with other users who have access to the report or app?

For instance, a user could explore the data, apply filters, and adjust visuals to highlight a particular insight. Then, that user could create a “shareable view” or “shared bookmark” that other users could open and optionally save as their own bookmark.

This would be a great way to collaborate, save time and be consistent when working across teams or departments.

I found a hack/workaround method to share Personalized visuals to other users.

1. Apply any Personalization to any visual(s).

2. Either click on the (...) within the Visual and select Share > Chat In Teams .... OR ... click on Share from the menu bar at the top of the Report and then select Teams.

3. A window will pop up containing a URL/link. If you copy/paste/share THAT link to other users, THAT link WILL preserve any Personalization (and applied filters) when the user clicks on it. They WILL see the EXACT personalized visual that you are sharing. I use it all the time, and it has proven to be VERY useful for sharing personalized visuals with other users.
