When using the get data from power platform functionality in excel, the initial interface that pops up when user selects "Insert Table" is fantastic. Query building for low DAX experience level users is ideal. However, if a user needs to update the query, they need a strong working knowledge of DAX to add fields, measures, or to change filters in the report data. If there was an option in the "edit query" section of the table design properties to return to the initial view it would greatly speed up both user adoption, training and speed to make changes. PLEASE consider this option in future updates.
